The Balkan Lindy Hop Championships is the first of it's kind, providing international swing dance competitors with a chance to throw down in a confortable stunning venue with care for conpetitors and dancers in Sofia (Bulgaria)!
Powered by Lindy Hop Bulgaria, the event takes place in Plovdiv, Bulgaria on 25-27 September 2020.
BLHC has 19 divisions, offers 6 workshops with international teachers, and lots social dancing to live music!

"Kevin St. Laurent began his dancing career at the young age of eight years. He has studied a plethora of other dance styles including, Hungarian Couple Dancing, Mexican Folklorico, Contra Dancing, Scandinavian Couple Dancing, Modern Dance, West African Dancing, Break Dancing, Hip Hop, Balkan Line Dances (including Bulgarian, Greek, Bosnian, Croatian, Romanian, Turkish & Serbian), Ballroom Standards, Scottish Country Dancing, and a few others to boot."

"Internationally renowned competitor, started competing in sports in the 1990s and still is at various championships around the world. Since 2000, she has been involved in the Lindy Hop Community and is a strong supporter of competitions and how they promote regular training. She values the time and energy each performer puts into preparing to put someone on the floor. Even though not everyone will bring home the gold, she hopes each competitor will be proud of the work they showcase."
